2.2 - Risk Assessments

Objective: To understand the requirements of conducting both COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous (Potentially harmful) to Health) and Risk (The possibility of incurring misfortune or loss) Assessments and the obligations of the employer and employees.

  • COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous (Potentially harmful) to Health) = Control of Substances Hazardous (Potentially harmful) to Health.
  • All companies must assess the potential risks to personnel.
