3.1 - Product Data Sheets - Review

Objective: To understand how to read and understand the manufacturer's product data sheet and the importance of using the product within these guidelines.

  • All coatings (Paint - substance used for protection of surfaces ie steel from corrosion.) have product data sheets.
  • Do not consider using a product until you have read and understood the data sheet.
  • Do not confuse the general data sheet with the Health and Safety Data Sheet.
