3.1.2 - Performance Standards For Protective Coatings: Part 2

Objective: The objective of this unit is to give an overview of the performance standards for protective coatings (Paint - substance used for protection of surfaces ie steel from corrosion.) which was approved for use by the International Maritime Organisation.

• The standard will have an impact on paint (Substance used for decorating or protecting a surface, sometimes referred to as coating) companies, applicators, shipyards and classification societies.
• A full review of the standard will be conducted.
